The Mi-GangLabour application allows you to source and manage this temporary labour using the same approach as Mi-SubContractor, providing efficient and controlled procedures. In addition, it is driven by a centralised database which is accessed and updated by gang masters meaning you can be reassured of the accuracy of the information you are being provided on individuals.
The information collected and logged by gang masters allows all relevant documentation including details of the gang master supplying the labour, their GLA license, copies of health questionnaires, driving licenses, passports and proof of UK residence and as well as up-to-date information on their current training status to be stored centrally and transferred to you at the click of a button, and this comes direct from the gang master supplying the employee.
Once an employee from the gang master has met all relevant criteria, they are issued with a ‘Passport to Work’ certificate as standard which will also be held on the system, reducing the likelihood of you employing an illegal immigrant. You can access and validate all of this information for individuals via the Mi-GangLabour application which will present the information using the simple traffic light matrix, anyone with areas of non-compliance or deemed unfit for work will be highlighted in red.
In order to simplify the employment process further for you, there is the option for gang masters to fulfil immediate training requirements with individuals using the Mi-Assessment application. This ensures that the employee has updated training relevant to the role and could even include completion of your site induction online so that they can start work immediately.
