Mi-Plant & Machinery

A major part of effective and robust health, safety and risk management is ensuring that all plant and machinery currently being used is safe, tested and certified for use.

This ensures that you are meeting your obligation to your employees of providing an environment that is fit to work in and that they are well-equipped to safely and confidently complete their role.

Whether your business is large or small, maintenance of such equipment can be a resourceful and costly task, with keeping track of such items on a daily basis often proving very difficult and time consuming. This application provides the capability for you to centrally monitor all plant and machinery whether it is held and used on or off-site.

Within Mi-Manager, this application provides a detailed recording tool where information in relation to all plant and machinery can be imported. The capabilities will then highlight when equipment requires re-testing and certification using timely e-mail notifications to authorised personnel. This means that you can accurately monitor test dates, licence renewals, maintenance budgets and, using traffic light indicators, equipment that is fit or unfit for use. Once complete for each item, the system allows you to upload the latest test certificates so that you can track and log the ‘fit for use’ history.

From fire extinguishers to articulated lorries, photocopiers to forklifts, this application can automate the management of all of your companies’ equipment.

Benefits:
  • Reduce down time and administration burden with effective and timely certification monitoring
  • Maintain a full document history with each piece of equipment, ensuring it is fit for use at all times
  • Associate risk assessments with maintenance of plant and machinery providing a risk reduction as a result of poor or unfit equipment
  • Attach pictures for each piece of equipment to aid identification, tracking and monitoring
